Welcome to the new website for the Mighty Sailor Drumline (MSDL) at Sarasota High School.  Here you will find the MSDL calendar of events, audition information, downloadable sheet music (password needed), pictures, videos, audio music files, and useful links.  Check the “News” link above often, or subscribe to the blog to receive the latest information concerning the line.

 

The MSDL under the instruction of Mr. Andy Harshman, and is a part of the Mighty Sailor Band, under the direction of Mr. John D. Roseboom.  In the Fall, the line performs as a part of the Marching Band during football games and at special events.  This year, the MSDL will also be active during the Spring semester, with the formation of the Winter Line.  The purpose of the Winter Line is to improve technique and skill during the “off-season.”  Any performances of the Winter Line will be posted in the News section of the website.
