Students can start from the beginning or jump in at different parts of the Nuclear Chemistry program.
Alpha, beta and gamma decay is explained. The student is then taught how to write nuclear reactions.

Movies of the Geiger counter and the Cloud Chamber show how radiation can be detected.
Students can visit Internet sites on these and other nuclear scientists. They can also visit The Manhattan Project, The A-Bomb museum and other nuclear sites.

Animations of fission and fusion prove helpful in understanding nuclear energy.

As the mouse moves over the reactor, the name of the part is pronounced and an explanation of it's purpose is given.

Students can observe how the reactor temperature is controlled by raising and lowering the control rods.
The program describes the use of radioisotopes to detect and fight disease

At the end of the program the students are tested on their knowledge of natural decay, fission, fusion and mankind's use of this knowledge.
