• Mast Scholar graduates continually attend the nation's top schools:

• Since 1999, Mast students are the only students from Sarasota County that have attended the International Intel Science Fair.
• Since 1995, Mast students have placed in every category entered in the Sarasota County Regional Science Fair.
• Won the DuPont Essay Contest in 2001 and 2003. In 2001, Mast had the only two winners in the state of Florida.
• Sarasota High School has earned the prestigious Scientific Dr. Carl Luer Award the most times then any other school, which awards the top high school student from the county in the area of science and research.
• Many Mast Scholar graduates have continued pursuing research at the collegiate level.
• Academic Excellence
  • 100% of graduates of the MRI program have gone to a 4-year university with the majority to prestigious universities.
  • Our MRI students have a 87% passing rate on Advanced Placement tests (Chemistry, AB/BC Calculus, Biology, American History, Literature, Language, Music Theory, Computer Science, and World History
