Freshmen will take two one semester classes that will focus on process skills for finding, reading, interpreting, carrying out, and communicating investigations specific to each area of interest. These skills will be taught in the context of three of the research tracks in an exploratory project format. The second class will expose them to the other three tracks.the five majors/minors listed above.

Sophomores will then select an area of interest in which they would like to perform their research. They will then take a one credit Research class for the next three years along with at least 4 classes within their chosen major. The Research classes will be designed to provide exposure to topic relevant experiences in a sequential building format. Teachers will direct ongoing research with older students in charge and younger students learning the process by joining and doing. The students will have the opportunity to spin their own investigations off or start their own project.
