If after reading through all of the information that was presented you feel that you want to support the reopening of Midnight Pass, then TAKE ACTION! Here’s some suggestions of what you can do:
 
  1. 1.Download and sign a petition from the Midnight Pass Society (click here)
  2. 2.Contact your County Commissioners (see Resources for their contact info)
  3. 3.Join the Midnight Pass Society and display a “LET IT FLOW” sticker.
  4. 4.Write a letter to the editor
        -     Sarasota Herald Tribune
       -     The Pelican Press
       -     The Longboat Key Observer
  5. 5.Call the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Beaches and Costal Systems - Coastal and Environmental Resource Permitting and tell them to issue the permit to open the pass!
