Rifle Team
The Rifle Team practices three days per week and is comprised of 11 members. The team competes regularly in county rifle matches and is currently in third place. The SHS Junior ROTC challenges Riverview High School, Sarasota Military Academy, Venice High School and North Port High School in meets. The team uses CO 2 powered rifles with .177 ammunition. Practicing marksmanship is the passion of this team. The Rifle Team is under the direct supervision of COL Thibault with a cadet as team captain. |
