Participation in the Raiders Team requires a commitment to physical training, to team work and to cadet team mates. Raiders enjoy camping trips, physical training sessions and becoming proficient in the agility/obstacle course. They learn the intracacies of orienteering and earn First Aid certification. Other challenging activities include "building" the one-rope bridge and participating in rappelling outings. Raiders meet once a week and wear the ACU (Army Combat Uniform). Raiders compete once a year in the District Raider Meet and locally, the team looks forward to competing with other JROTC units in the county. The Raiders are comprised of 17-20 cadets under SAI COL Thibault's direction with student cadet leaders directing activities.
